The Bryan and Vinny Show is back today with tons to talk about as we look back at Raw and Nitro from 19 years ago this week! Two pretty terrible shows with very few redeeming qualities outside Steve Austin making Vince McMahon look like a fool again. And wait until you get a load of the finishers report.
These shows aired on June 21, 1999.
Nitro had hoodie hoo, the start of West Texas Rednecks vs. No Limit Soldiers, the return of Eddie Guerrero, the latest with Ernest Miller, the burial of the cruiserweights and a main event pitting Sid Vicious against Sting.
Raw had Mideon becoming the prestigious European champion, Chaz no longer being able to do the Beaver Cleavage gimmick, the secret of Shawn Michaels’ wrestling school, Val Venis vs. Albert, GTV with Al Snow and a main event featuring Triple H facing the Undertaker which somehow leads to The Rock placing Paul Bearer near his own symbol. A fun show as always so check it out~!
