Wrestling Observer Radio with Bryan Alvarez and Dave Meltzer is back today with tons to talk about including full results of the TNA Redemption PPV, all the matches, angles and new World Champion, Motoko Baba’s death and Dave’s memories, tons of Bruno Sammartino questions in the mailbag and so much more.
Things start with the death of Motoko Baba last week due to cirrhosis of her liver. Dave explains how Baba was instrumental in handling All Japan’s business, especially as it grew in the late eighties and early nineties.
Impact had their first PPV of the year, Redemption. Both Dave and Bryan run down the card, including the main event featuring Impact World champion Austin Aries defending the title against Fenix and Pentagon Jr. in a triple threat match.
Raw is previewed for tomorrow, which will include the return of Brock Lesnar. Dave also has notes on UFC from last night.
