It’s a good week for me to be solo on the Sunday edition of Wrestling Observer Live because of so much happening this past weekend.
As you know, both Ring of Honor and WWE NXT ran big shows on Saturday. I talk the best from both shows including the insanity from The Briscoes vs. FTR double dog collar match and thoughts on NXT’s first-ever Iron Survivor challenge matches.
Sasha Banks/Mercedes Varnado appears to not be returning to WWE anytime soon and is scheduled to be at Wrestle Kingdom 17 in the Tokyo Dome on January 4th. I talk about this story and the possibility of an AEW appearance the following week in Los Angeles.
Plus, ROH has a TV deal (sort of), John Cena is returning to WWE TV soon, Roman Reigns possibly might be working both nights of WrestleMania, and more!
