The Bryan & Vinny & Craig show is back today with our look back at Raw and Nitro from 19 years ago this week! The show continues to drain the life force from Bryan as he endures another five hours of awful programming and ages a full year in the process. No matter what Vinny says, Raw was worse than Nitro.
These shows took place on June 14, 1999.
Nitro had the return of Sid Vicious, the debut of Rap is Crap, Eric Bischoff’s commentary, Piper and Flair joining forces…because, the artist formerly known as Sable in the audience, the WCW debut of Master P and the No Limit Soldiers and a main event featuring Kevin Nash versus Sid Vicious for the WCW title.
Raw featured Steve Austin taking over WWE headquarters, more from the Corporate Ministry making matches, Debra vs. Ivory for the WWE Women’s title, Ken Shamrock vs. Jeff Jarrett in a straightjacket match and a main featuring The Rock taking on Triple H and The Undertaker in a triple threat match.
