The Bryan and Vinny Show is back today with our look at Raw and Nitro from 19 years ago this week! Bryan is still in Crescent City, CA, so no Craig tonight, but he’ll be back next week. These shows aired on July 12, 1999.
Nitro had the return of Hulk Hogan, Vampiro vs. Konnan, Fit Finlay becomes hardcore champion, Sid Vicious and his potential Hall of Awesome promo, Dean Malenko vs. Ric Flair and a main event featuring Hulk Hogan challenging Randy Savage for the WCW title.
Raw had Steve Austin and Vince McMahon making big stipulations, Edge vs. Gangrel, Al Snow vs. Droz in an evening gown match, the weird story of Chyna, Billy Gunn, X-Pac and Road Dogg, Kane needing to make a choice, the drama in Stephanie McMahon’s lovelife, the first Countdown to the Millennium vignette and a main event featuring Steve Austin and Big Show taking on The Undertaker and Kane.
