The Bryan & Vinny & Craig Show is back today with a very special edition of the Retro Raw and Nitro show — an actual week where Raw and Nitro were hot shows with hot crowds and it felt like the Monday Night Wars were absolutely awesome. These shows took place on August 9, 1999.
Raw had the Hardys joining Gangrel, Jesse Ventura laying down the law, Steve Austin being assaulted, people arriving hideously late, the debut of the Millenium Man, Test and Steve Blackman speak, a non-title hardcore match and a triple threat match featuring Triple H defending his number one contendership against The Undertaker and Chyna.
On Nitro, we have the Insane Clown Posse, the latest update on WCW authority figures, Little Jeannie vs. Mona, David Flair vs. Chris Benoit, Dennis Rodman and Randy Savage without a script and a main event featuring Kevin Nash, Rick Steiner and Sid vs. Sting, Goldberg and the return of red and yellow Hulk Hogan.
