The first part of today’s show talks about pro wrestling history in general and why wrestling faces a bigger problem in television entertainment than other shows.
With no offseason and no end of story plotting like other scripted shows, pro wrestling is at a disadvantage. Plus, Karl gets into some WWE talk.
Then we resume the longform history of pro wrestling series as the biggest war in world history ends. Pro wrestling has seen a number of its stars and even one of its World Champions called away to fight overseas. Several wrestlers are killed in a war-time accident. Things start changing in 1945 that will impact the future of pro wrestling. And Steve Casey returns to reunify the AWA World title with Sandor Szabo’s War-Time Duration title.
