Wrestling Observer Live with Bryan Alvarez and Mike Sempervive is back today with tons to talk about including Brock Lesnar and UFC, Jon Jones’ hearing, John Cena’s Road to WrestleMania versus the Undertaker, Ronda Rousey ratings, plus Mandy Leon joins us to talk ROH, the Women of Honor tournament, a ton of upcoming dates, her career and more! Bryan starts off with discussion on Dana White saying there is a very good chance Brock Lesnar could return to the UFC. They also talk about Jon Jones, who had his MMA license revoked after failing to provide a reason why he failed a drug test. John Cena has also found another path to WrestleMania, this time appearing at Fastlane in what is now a six pack challenge match for the WWE title. There’s also discussion of a rumor going around that Rey Mysterio would be the one to challenge John Cena.
Raw ratings were discussed, with the third hour dropping as usual despite Ronda Rousey making her Raw debut in that hour. After news of Amazon getting rights to sell UFC shows, text messages are read including lots of questions on Rey Mysterio, John Cena, Ronda Rousey and Matt Hardy’s Ultimate Deletion. Bryan also goes on a rant about Dolph Ziggler and his superkick to the back of Kevin Owens’ head on Smackdown.
Mandy Leon joins the show. She talks about the upcoming Women of Honor tournament, her love for wrestling growing up, how she got into the business, Ring of Honor’s training school, if there are more women training at the dojo now, her favorite match, injuries and more
