Wrestling Observer Live with Bryan Alvarez and Mike Sempervive is back today with tons to talk about including interviews with Dave Meltzer talking the new Wrestling Observer Newsletter, All-In, WrestleMania and more, Eddie Edwards talking the baseball bat incident on last week’s Impact as well as his career, tons of news from the past 24 hours and more! We start off with some notes on Abbey Laith’s release, as well as a rundown of the Fastlane card, an Impact card airing on Twitch tomorrow and ROH’s anniversary show. A caller laments about the predictability of WrestleMania and why Braun Strowman doesn’t have a match at WrestleMania yet. There is also some talk about a cease and desist letter being sent to reporters by Lucha Underground, who are upset about spoilers being put out.
Dave Meltzer joins the show. They talk about the LU cease and desist and if spoilers have any effect on ratings. Other topics include the Jon Bravo story, the WrestleMania main event, All In and the arena they’ll have the show in plus more.
Eddie Edwards joined the show in the final segment. Of course, the first subject that is brought up is regarding the baseball bat to the eye incident from a couple of months ago. He goes into detail what happened and talks about the Sami Callihan reaction and the media coverage. They also talk about his run with NOAH and winning the GHC heavyweight title, the first for a gaijin.
