Wrestling Observer Live with Bryan Alvarez (no Mike Sempervive today) is back today with tons to talk about!
We kick things off with more talk about the WWE and UFC television deals. One point that was brought up is that WWE is getting more money out of their TV deal than UFC is getting from theirs. There’s also calls and texts regarding why the Chyna and Paige situations are completely different and ROH’s upcoming shows in the UK.
Dave Meltzer joins the show in the second segment to talk more about the UFC/WWE deals. UFC might have lost out on their Fox deal due to due to “playing chicken”. There’s also talk about ratings, the status of the Authors of Pain, WWE sending people they aren’t using to developmental and more.
The show finishes off with calls and texts on the Authors of Pain, the brand split, Young Bucks taking the IWGP heavyweight tag team titles to All In, streaming for All In, Dean Ambrose, more on ESPN and ESPN + and other topics. A fun show as always so check it out~!
