Wrestling Observer Radio with Bryan Alvarez and Dave Meltzer is back today with tons to talk about including Raw ratings with the two-hour gauntlet match, Elimination Chamber, weekend UFC line-ups, Smackdown and 205 Live, the cause of death of Tom Zenk, tons of mailbag questions and more! A packed show as always so check it out~!

We immediately kick off the show with the discussion of Raw’s ratings from Monday. The show opened at 3.5 million viewers and largely retained their audience in the second hour after doing a two hour long gauntlet match. That transitions to talk of this weekend’s UFC card on FOX. With Jeremy Stephens vs. Josh Emmett headlining, it’s possible the show may be the lowest rated yet on the network.

Bryan and Dave then talk about the trio of shows that went down Tuesday: Smackdown, Mixed Match Challenge and 205 Live, featuring AJ Styles taking on Baron Corbin, Charlotte and Bobby Roode vs. Nia Jax and Apollo and Mustafa Ali taking on Jack Gallagher.

An official cause of death has been determined for Tom Zenk, as he essentially died from an enlarged heart. Dave brings up that this isn’t the first time someone in pro wrestling has died from that in professional wrestling.

A giant mailbag closes out the show, featuring questions regarding WWE’s age demographics, the Hulk Hogan/Billy Kidman feud, the possibility of UFC Fight Pass being sold to a high bidder like Amazon or Disney, how strong WWE’s markets were in the 1980s, a NXT match at WrestleMania, what would happen if Raw moved to FOX and Smackdown to FS1, the Richard Rodriguez/Roman Reigns story, why the NWA didn’t have travelling world tag team champions and more.

Timestamps:
