We start off with talk about ROH’s 16th Anniversary show, headlined by Dalton Castle defending the ROH championship against Jay Lethal. New Japan Cup discussion followed, where Juice Robinson and Michael Elgin advanced in the tournament.
NXT tapings took place this week. Dave runs down situation with Bobby Fish, the Undisputed Era and what it means for the tag team titles. Dave also gives a Rey Mysterio update and discusses what is going down with Rich Swann, who says he is now retired.
More on the Richard Rodriguez story, with Luther Reigns’ name now popping up. A bout between Raquel Pennington and Amanda Nunes has been confirmed for UFC 224. Dave talks about that and the Werdum/pro wrestling story that popped up over the week. Dave then runs down Fastlane one more time.
Dave then talks about a question he got regarding Jose Gonzalez and his career after being acquitted of Bruiser Brody’s murder.
